One Light Wonder

As of 2022, New York City has a total of 13,543 intersections with traffic signals. What’s the population of Vinton County, Ohio you ask? 12,800. I’m no mathematician but I think you and I both can conclude NYC has more traffic signals than we do humans. How many traffic signals do we have? 1. That’s right, you heard me, ONE. Why is this important? It’s not, but it’s a fun statistic to know. What’s also fun to know is that although we are small, we are mighty. Instead of boring you with what we don’t have-like red lights-I’ll enlighten you with what we do have! 

Vinton County is home to three lakes-Alma, Hope and Rupert. We have covered bridges and quilt barns, hiking trails and haunted tunnels, a public airport where Santa parachutes from planes and even a festival about Turkeys.
